I'm a single mother of 2 daughters, Nicolle and Louisa.
So far i just travelled to Bali with my girls because i
thought it would be hard travelling with kids.
but reading all tips from other families travelled with kids
changed my mind.
And i promised myself, next time i travel again, it should
be with d girls..
A family of five who had a crazy dream and decided to set
off on a world adventure together, spending quality time
together which we didn't really find back home, learning
more about the world, ourselves and each other. We put a
giant world map up on the wall and studied it in between
packing up our belongings and renting our house and finally
decided to start our journey in South America. That was in
July 2012. We've spent nine months in South American now, it
has flown by.We've visited nine countries, learned some
Spanish, the children have attended school for a short
while, we did a little volunteering, and...
An American family of 4, currently living in Spain. We
began our adventure in late August 2012. We quit our jobs
and SOLD the house, 2 cars and most of our belongings.
The plan was to take a 1 year career break, but we are
already looking to see what we can do to make this open
ended. We have the kids in public Spanish school for
language immersion and we plan to travel more of Europe over
the summer. We have explored much of Spain and dipped into
France and Portugal.
We are embracing the world, sharing our experiences and
hoping to inspire.
We've just started our trip. Sold the car (and a lot of
other stuff), rented out the house, got a lot of
vaccinations, some insurance, packed what we are able to
carry... and here we are. West Australia 2-3 months in an
campervan, then Singapore, Malaysia by train, and staying
for a while in Thailand.
The two eldest (11 and 9) are kindly lent out by their
farther - they used to stay with him every second week.
Mum is on maternity leave - dad is working from his laptop
while travelling.
Chris & I decided to take a few years and travel the world
with our two small children. When we were pregnant with
our first, my husband quit his 9-5 and started his own
e-commerce software developement company with a friend, so
he could work from home. Since then, we sold our house,
sold our belongings, made another baby, and finally embarked
on our adventure! We've been in Costa Rica since the
beginning of 2013, and plan on staying here for about a
year. Who knows where to next, maybe France, maybe
Thailand, we'll decide later. You all know how it is. ;)
-Emily AKA TravelMother --I'm sure I don't...
My name is Sharon and I love to travel! And so do my
husband, Joshua, our daughter, Soraya and our son, Isaac
(well I'm sure he would say that if he could!). I traveled
extensively pre-kids, and we are about to have our first
overseas adventure with two kids - 7 weeks in Thailand,
Malaysia, Philippines and Taiwan. We are a bit
apprehensive about how it will go with the kids being so
young, but how many people get to spend their first birthday
on an exotic beach in the Philippines?! This is just the
beginning of our family travels. We hope to spend another
few months away at the...
We're a family of six from Pennsylvania who had everything
promised in the American Dream: nice house, two cars, lots
of friends, and interesting work. But something was missing.
We were tired of the earn-and-spend treadmill and wanted to
see some of the world while our kids were still young enough
to experience the total paradigm shift that comes from true
travel.
So we split. We left behind all of our blessings at home for
a break from America. We are living for six months in
southern Belize, house sitting for most of that time for an
off-the-grid property directly on the sea. Our kids attend
the local school and ride...
We're Manfred (from UK) and Miu (from Thailand). We
currently live in Bangkok and setting off on your travels in
March 2013. We're enjoying our final few months in Bangkok
while we wait for teh lease on our condo to come to an end.
Initially we plan to visit Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia,
Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia (including Bali) and the
Philippines, followed by Europe, the rest of Asia, North
America, Central America and Australia. We think this will
take arund 3 years in total.
We are a family of three (English hubbie, Cali wife and
5-year old daughter) who are based in San Francisco. We've
had a severe case of wanderlust for over a decade but let
life get in the way for far too long. We've finally taken
the plunge and rented out our home so that we can roam the
world for a year, while I work part-time and we homeschool
our daughter.
We are a party of five expecting our 4th child in May, 2013.
We have been traveling in the western US via van with our
kids and dog in tow in route from Mexico to Panama. We enjoy
adventure, the unbeaten path and aren't afraid to try the
cow-head stew from the road-side, dirt-floor palapa. We are
learning spanish and exploring the culture while
roadschooling and telecommuting. Life is good!
An academician and a yoga instructor; both addicted
travelers… What happens if this Turkish couple has a
baby?! “Maya” happens… She travels the Balkans in her
mom’s belly, demands to be born 7 weeks early out of
curiosity, moves around as much as possible, explores all of
the Netherlands when she was 3 months young, enjoys leafing
through books and plays on the Yoga mat:) They all together
travel the world just to spite the people who say,
“Nothing will be the same with the baby. You cannot travel
to far lands.”…
We are a family of three: Anna (a Russian, an historian, a
poetry lover), Slaven (a Bulgarian, a professional poker
player, a thoughtful dad), and Aglaya (a gin fizz and
sometimes a Panda), and we are starting a journey of our
dreams — a 5-months AROUND-THE-WORLD adventure!!!
On the way, we will be playing No Limit Hold’em poker,
performing some ‘raise-your-kid-on-the-go’ tricks and
treats, and greedily exploring the new lands.
We start the journey on November 22, 2012, and go from
Europe to South America, Australia and New Zealand,
South-East Asia and back to Europe.
We would like very much to meet other traveling families
with children and to dine/walk/play together. We...
We are very excited to be having a year off to discover and
reconnect with each other and the world.
Life is wonderful in Australia but there is SO MUCH out
there to experience.
We want to slow down the pace and take time to appreciate
the day to day a bit more.
Probably only go with the 3 little ones as our big girl will
probably start Uni of something in 2015.
If all goes our way this will be the beginning of many 'long
breaks overseas' over the coming years.
We are on a year long travel through New Zealand, Fiji,
Hawaii, USA, Barbados, Mexico, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia,
Vietnam, China, Indonesia, India, UK, Greece, France,
Canada.
Happy to share tips and learn from other travelers.

We are Tim, Jenn, Charlie and A.J. from the USA. We're
planning a 6.5 month travel sabbatical, to see, explore and
engage in this big world around us.
Tim and Jenn have both travelled a lot and they’ve been
waiting for their kids to get old enough to carry their own
packs, keep themselves entertained on long bus rides and
partake in all sorts of fun adventures like rafting and
hiking. We also want them to have the patience to take in
the occasional ruin or museum. That time is coming. In early
2013, the kids will be 8 and nearly 11 years old. Let the
adventure begin!
Together with our small daughter, we decided to to live the
life we always dreamt about. In 2010 made a 6-months long
road trip Around the Black
Sea [http://thefamilywithoutborders.com/category/around-black-sea-2010/]
and through the Caucasus to the Caspian Sea and back to
Berlin.
Right now we are – already with our second daughter – on
the Between the Oceans
Tour [http://thefamilywithoutborders.com/category/between-the-oceans-2011/]
through Central America from Mexico down to Panama, starting
on 18th of October 2011.

*What to do with your life when your small daughter turns 6
months?*
We decided to continue our lives the way we have always
dreamt about. Mama: Polish journalist and papa: German
photographer will take small Hanna for a trip around the
Black Sea.

We are a family of six with mom, four big boys and one
little girl, all born in various locations around the world.
Kate (mom) is from England and grew up around Europe before
arriving in the US at age 17.
Sam (24) was born in Texas, Jacob (22) in England, Benjamin
(17) in Hawaii, Maxwell (9) in Abu Dhabi, United Arab
Emirates, and Charlotte (6) is our southern belle born in
Knoxville, Tennessee.
We have been living and traveling around the world, as
evidenced by the children’s varying birth places, and have
been fortunate to live in many great locations. Kate is a
professor in education working for a...
We have been thinking and planning and re-thinking and
re-planning this trip for over 4 years. I'll be taking a
career break (leave of absence), Eric, a stay at home Dad,
will be taking a Home Break, and Sean and Liam will
continue to play, explore and grow but beyond the
familiarity of our home turf. We are beginning with a trip
across Canada in our '84 Westfalia, then fly south to
Central America and then a bit further to Peru.
Jacob and Kalli have been traveling full time for nearly 4
years. They've been to nearly 30 countries. They started
traveling thinking they'd stop this year...then the
next...and then the next...But they loved it too much. They
got pregnant, had the baby on the road, and kept going. The
baby is portable and so is our lifestyle. We are planning to
do this permanently and want to meet the rest of you die
hard traveling families out there.
Bethaney, Lee and toddler, Reuben. We're a semi-nomadic
family of flashpackers who spend some of the year at home in
Christchurch, New Zealand and the rest out enjoying the
world.
2011 was spent mostly in Australia and the USA. This year we
plan to spend time in Australia, South East Asia and New
Zealand.
We're keen to connect with other travelling families at home
and on the road and arrange international playdates.
We have decided to take a break from our 9 to 5
‘reality’ and travel for a year around the world
starting April 2011.
… but why? We believe it was a combination of factors
including; right timing, some inspirational reading, a need
for true self reflection, a wish for a more fulfilling
lifestyle and an irresistible travel itch. Most
importantly, the desire to bond as a family by being
able to spend more quality time together and follow our
dreams.
We’re very excited about this somewhat
‘unconventional’ decision and hope it’ll be a
life-changing experience and an unforgettable adventure
for the three of us. The uncertainty of what to expect on
this journey and afterwards is both thrilling and
frightening …...
Mike (originally American), Penny (originally English), and
daughter Antonia (born in London, UK). Most recently lived
in the French Alps near Grenoble.
We are slowly pushing our way around the planet. We
generally have been staying in places for about a month
before moving on.
Mike works with computers / internet stuff. He usually
manages to fix people's internet connection everywhere he
goes.
Penny is working on several books.
Antonia is being home schooled (and is very homesick!)
We are planning to leave our comfortable home in the coastal
suburbs of New South Wales, Australia in June this year.
Our family consists of Cindy, Joel, Hamish, Morgan and
Phoenix. Georgia (9yo) will be joining us for a few weeks at
a time but will return to Australia regularly.
Our first stop is Bali, staying 13 nights with friends in a
nice little villa. Then off to thailand, plans still in
progress for here, but maybe Phuket, Krabi, Koh Samui then
off north.
Other spots of interest to us are Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos,
China, Japan, Singapore. Hope to come home for Christmas
2012 then head back to asia. No real...
We have great lives....we love our work and our
lifestyle...and we feel so fortunate. We have chosen and
enjoy being active (and busy) people but are looking to take
a year off work to travel. We are thankful that we planned 4
years ago, when our second daughter was born, to take off
for the 2012-2013 school year. There was no specific goal or
direction at that time but it has been the topic of many
late night conversations...."If you could go anywhere in the
world, where would you go...?" "Have you ever heard of X?"
"A friend just got back from Y and said it was amazing..."
all complemented...
Shades of Brown all around the world. Our family is young,
diverse and full of energy. We are open to new things and
want our kids to experience the world in new ways.
We have just caught the vision and we are starting the
process to get ready to leave it all behind. We're looking
for advice, locations and whatever else wisdom you have to
share.
Our family has decided to leave our comfortable Seattle life
and set off for a year of adventure and insight. We are
planning a wide range of travel experiences - from 3 months
volunteering in Peru to vagabonding around Australia in a
camper, living with elephants in Northern Thailand, and
hopping on the Trans-Mongolian Railway to name a few. Most
of all, we are looking forward to sharing these experiences
as a family. Mom is a teacher and is excited about "world
schooling" both kids by drawing on local themes and learning
opportunities. Connecting with other traveling families
would be a joy!
After quitting my job in October with a 2 year old and a 2
month old at home, and during the height of the Occupy
Movement in NYC, we decided that now was the time to get out
there and implant in our children a vision and a version of
this world that exists beyond our borders. We have a trial
run to Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia slated for March and
then plan to depart for good on our anniversary, Oct. 09th,
2012.
We are taking this show on the road.
WE sold our home, gave up our jobs, off-loaded our
furniture, car and practically everything we owned and hit
the road, originally as three, and now, after our daughter
was born in Brazil in 2011, four. We left behind the Rat
Race to spend more time as a family and to face new
challenges, which have been tougher than those we
encountered before. But we have, so far, had the time of our
lives, even if it has been remarkably testing. In our first
year we visited North Africa, Europe, South America, North
America and the Carribean. In our second year we went to
South America and spent some time...
We moved to the south of France for a year. We call it a
family life sabbatical and it’s been a dream of mine since
as long as i can remember, long before i got sucked into the
rat race i called life.
Ok, it didn’t happen quite as simply and easily as that.
Moving to France was no small feat especially with 3 kids in
tow ranging from 4 to 15. There were a lot of moving parts,
visas, money, moving our stuff, selling our stuff, living in
limbo while we waited for visas, getting the kids ready.
Plus we did it after we had lost our jobs...
I am currently living in Granada, Nicaragua with my son
Niko. His Dad lives here too, but we are separated. I would
like to travel in the area (Central and Latin America or
anything thats not too expensive to get to) with my son. I
got pregnant on a round the world trip last year, didnt
quite make it around the world, and im still hungry for
travel. Any single mothers with kids who want to share a leg
of their travel are very welcome.
We are a family traveling and exploring the world for one
year. We hope to inspire a sense of adventure in our
children and to open our minds and hearts to new
experiences. We don't have a set itinerary and instead
follow the path that presents itself to us as we move
through our journey. So far we've traveled in Alaska for
two months, driven our 1986 Volkwagen Vanagon across Canada
and spent 6 weeks in the Dominican Republic. Currently we
are in Costa Rica. It's a wild and wondrous ride!
We are a family of three from Waterloo, Ontario. Our little
one just turned 3 years old.
Karl and I always wanted to do a whole lot more traveling.
For years we had been saving, scheming, "doing without",
waiting for the perfect opportunity. In June 2011, a friend
casually mentioned we could crash with him if we ever found
ourselves in Australia. Karl's brother lives in Singapore,
we couldn't not visit him since we would be so close,
perhaps we could visit my family in Europe on the way
back.... next thing you know we were planning a round the
world trip.
In September 2011 our house went up for sale,...
We are a family of four (with a 3 & 1 yr old) that sold our
suburban stuff in order to live our dreams of travel,
adventure and new experiences in different cultures. We hope
you enjoy our stories and that you are inspired to simplify
and live out your own dreams.
Dream. Explore. Discover
Live A King's Life.
We're a Portuguese family of three - Filipe the father,
Luísa the mother and almost-five-year-old daughter Pikitim
- embracing our biggest adventure together: a 12 months
round the world trip focusing on Pacific islands... and
around.
Filipe is a travel columnist and photographer, travelling
the world in search of stories and people that give life to
his stories. In 2004/2005 he travelled around the world for
the first time - the journey took him 14 months to came back
home, but in fact he never stopped travelling since then. He
is the founder and editor of travel website Alma de
Viajante[../..//] (meaning something like "Traveler's
Soul").
Luísa is a journalist with fourteen years...
Hello,
We are Gil and Julia, we started Asia on Strollers to share
our love of travel and a conviction that traveling in Asia
is even more amazing with child than without.
Few months ago we left our day jobs and started our journey
in Asia.
We are planning to travel all around East Asia with our 1.8m
son.
Now we are here to show you that you can do it too.
Hello,
We are Gil and Julia,
Few months ago we left our day jobs and started our journey
in Asia.
We are planning to travel all around East Asia with our 1.8m
son.
Curently we are located in South Thailand, Krabi area
In the fall of 2010 we quit our jobs and took our two kids,
Piper and Duncan, ages 4 and 6, to Cuenca, Ecuador for two
years (or until the money runs out).
Previously Diana was the marketing director at R.A.
Nelson[http://www.ranelson.com/], one of the premier
builders in Vail. Matt headed up the Eagle Valley Alliance
for Sustainability[http://eaglevalleyalliance.org/] a
nonprofit promoting green building, waste reduction,
renewable power, etc., etc..
The idea? Spend more time with the kids, provide us all with
some cultural perspective, and broaden our horizons and
minds.
We are a family of 4 creative, nature loving people. This
past summer (2012) we decided to put our beliefs into action
and embark on a journey of nomadic traveling. Our goal is to
explore new places, meet new people, share life stories and
help out whenever we can.
Follow us as we travel and share our stories and photographs
along the way!
We favor candid/nature/travel shots
Do you know someone looking for "live on farm" help? Let us
know... we are open to all adventures!
We're a British couple who have been living in the
USA/Australia for the last 6 years. We were living in
Sydney, where we had our now 2 year old daughter, in the
early part of 2011 when we came up against some health
problems which meant some dramatic changes to our family
life. Paul took a 3 month sabatical and we flew back to the
Uk to be with Suzi's mother while she went through cancer
treatment and took the opportunity to get to the bottom of
our little daughter's health problems too.
In gthe meantime, we took this opportunity to turn a
difficult situation into the opportunity to persue...
*Hi, Im Lisa Chiodo* and Im the writer behind Renovating
Italy. I was born and bred in Melbourne, Australia. I took
my first trip to Europe in my 20?s and fell in love with a
life of travel, freedom, adventure and new experiences.
In 2005 I moved to Italy with my husband and two young
children then aged one and three. I saw an Italian way of
life totally removed from the tourist spots I visited in my
20?s. We embraced the rustic life and stayed to renovate
a farmhouse at the foot of the Alps.
Currently in Brisbane, Australia we have bought a home in
Veravo, Liguria and are...
For now, our family consists of only Tanya and Andrew.
We are a couple of fun loving, semi dare devil people about
to take the chance to travel the world full time. We leave
Perth, Australia on November 1 2011 to travel and experience
the world together, although we will be travelling our own
state for two weeks before we leave Australia.
In January, 2010, after selling our home in the U.S. and
most of our possessions, we began our life abroad, starting
with Costa Rica. We moved for better weather, a chance to
learn new languages, experience new cultures, and to get
away from the stagnation and materialism we had been
experiencing.
We're homeschooling our girls, learning a lot through our
travels, and growing closer together as a family. Using
Costa Rica as a home base, we spend 2010 and 2011 exploring
surrounding countries. In November, 2011, we moved to
Malaysia and are now enjoying Southeast Asia.
We fund our travels through my online business
(www.musicteachershelper.com[http://www.musicteachershelper.com]),
which I've automated and outsourced, allowing me to...
We are just a family who decided to go for a bike ride. On
the longest road in the world.
Some people say we're exceptionally brave.
Others say we're outrageously foolish.
We dont think we're either. We're just a family who
wanted an adventure and time with each other.
After three years on the road cycling 17,300 miles through
fifteen countries starting in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska we reached
the end of the world in Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego.
Now we're in Idaho trying to figure out what we want to do
when we grow up.
Hello! We are the Bradley Family, and consist of a British
American mom, Canadian American dad, a 3 year old
angel/demon named Kaya, and a plethora of furry pals that
have come with us on our journeys. We currently live in
Phuket, Thailand.
How we ended up traveling:
Well, I (mom) traveled extensively as a kid. I spent most of
my life on the road, with a good portion of it in Antibes
France ( which is where I consider home). I moved to Los
Angeles in 2002, where I met my husband and had my daughter
Kaya. We decided we did not want to raise Kaya in the
states, so...
We're a typical American family, mom, dad, and two kids (11
& 14), with two older kids off to college and beyond. (The
two older ones are great sports about us not having come up
with this idea when they were younger, though they wish we'd
been a bit quicker on the uptake.) Two years, a couple dozen
countries, one stolen backpack, and too many overnight
flights later, we think we may be closing in on a new
normal. When asked once how long we plan to do this, Austin
thought for a bit then replied simply, "til the world runs
out."
We are a Canadian family of 6 who sold our home to travel
the world. We love to learn and experience new places and
cultures together. The world is a magnificent place, and
we want to celebrate it! We realize that this nomadic
lifestyle will only last for a season of our lives, so we
want to make the most of it. We invite you to share in our
adventure!
A single dad traveling the world indefinitely with his young
son who has special needs, worldschooling (i.e.,
homeschooling, unschooling) along the way. We began our new
nomad lifestyle with Mexico and are slowly working our way
through there and then onto Central & South America before
we head to Antarctica and then continue on the other side of
the world.
Vagabonds for three years, we (Drew and Christine) became a
three person family for nearly a year and a half.
When Cole was four months old, we set off once again, this
time for Colombia. Since then, we have been to Burning Man,
San Francisco, Thailand, Malaysia, Bali, India, Dubai,
Greece, Paris, Barcelona, Morocco, and are currently in
Cairo, Egypt on our way to Rwanda and on and on.
With no home base, we are slogging all of our worldly
posessions from destination to destination.
Well, Drew is. On travel days, he's the sherpa, I am on
mommy duty to our amazing boy Cole, who is growing faster
than we can...
Our family loves to explore. We're currently taking a road
trip from Alaska to Argentina.
Previous to that we drove from Utah to Panama; lived in
Costa Rica for a year; lived in the Dominican Republic for 6
months; Atlanta, Georgia for 6 months; Tamil Nadu, India
for 5 months; drove from Atlanta to Alaska; lived in Alaska
for 1 year where we had baby number five.
We share our travel adventures, as well as tips, advice and
inspiration for other traveling families.
A Bulgarian and an American, we met in Australia and had a
few Aussie kids and never managed to settle. The move from
one end of the country to the other didnt quite do it, so we
packed up everything into a small storage space and went
galivanting around the world. Starting with a short flight
into Bali, we are moving on land all the way to Japan,
hopefully, then India, Eastern Europe and so on until our
budget runs out.
We are not rich or working on the road. Just average family
completely incapable of settling in, so we are spending our
house money on something we know we...
Mother and son, we left London in January 2010 to set out on
a big adventure, exploring the world and learning as we do.
We were planning to be away for one year, but enjoyed it so
much that we've extended our trip indefinitely, making our
website probably the worst titled on the planet. So far,
we've explored South-East Asia and Australia. We've dived
undersea volcanoes, climbed the highest mountain in
South-East Asia, hung out with hunter-gatherers and much,
much more. 2011 will see us in Asia. 2012-2013 will be
Europe and North Africa. Z blogs about his take on our
travels at kidventurer.com
*Miro and Lainie (mother 44 and 11 year old son) share their
adventures from the Road of Life, discussing issues of
humanity, global citizenship, worldschooling, slow travel &
living in the moment as they explore the big beautiful
planet, they call home. *
Lainie and her son Miro began their 8 year adventure in
2009, starting in Central & South America. They are slow
traveling around the globe allowing inspiration be their
compass. The pair is most interested in exploring cultures,
contributing by serving & connecting with humanity as
global citizens.
They invite you to travel along with them, share their
experiences, on the Road of Life.
We are a wacky, loud, corny, chaotic, clamoring family of
6. You can tell which campsite is ours because despite my
best efforts to give it that "homey, welcoming, come visit"
feel... its bursting with baby equipment, legos are ground
into the lawn and naked barbie dolls litter the table.
Our mission on the road is to help the hundreds of other
families by hosting social events / family reunions through
our club, Fulltime Families.
We hope to see you down the road!
The Traveling Travaglinos!
Shawn and I began our romance on the road, biking through
Prince Edward County and the country north of Belleville
with our high school class. Slapping at mosquitoes as we
shared our first kiss. Watching each other settle into
sleeping bags from across the hay barn. Maybe the thread of
travel caught and entwined as our hearts came together, and
now we couldnt separate our love from our wanderlust if we
tried.
The thread pulled tighter when we flew to China to bring two
children into our family. Meeting them in hotel rooms.
Rocking them to sleep on buses. Posing for photographs on
the Great Wall. Becoming parents in a place...
We're the Miller Family: Tony, Jenn, Hannah (14), Gabe (13),
Elisha (10), Ezra (8). We're well into our fourth year of
lifestyle travel and LOVING it.
So far we've:
Cycled from the UK->Tunisia and back, through 9 countries
Road Tripped Canada, the USA, Mexico, Guatemala, Belize &
Honduras Gone deep instead of wide for six months in the
highlands of Guatemala
Now we're gearing up for a huge cross continental road trip
(2 moms and 11 kids under 15 yrs!) followed by our family
launch toward Asia for the next phase of our adventure!
We're passionate about education, adventure and dreaming big
dreams with a serious bent toward social justice...
Been on the road for 9 months now - not very keen to go
home. We're all having a great time - most of the time!
We're not great at planning in advance and usually decide at
the last minute what we're going to do next. We think we
might head to Europe after S.E. Asia but that may become USA
or South America or somewhere else!
Howdy! We are the Boyinks, a family of four from Holland,
Michigan USA. We are homeschoolers and employed in the
online world of web development, and a couple of years ago
we came up with the "pipe dream" of a long road trip with
our kids. In September of 2010 we put wheels on that dream,
invited a friend to stay in our house, and hit the road in a
truck and 30' fifth wheel trailer. After roughly 7 months on
the road we realized there was too much to see and we needed
more time. This fall we plan to return home to put our
house on the...
Our family of four are off on what we hope will be a life
altering journey throughout the world. We have very little
planned other than we will first travel through South East
Asia, before heading to northern Asia and on to the
Americas.
We are an ordinary Australian family who simply decided that
there has to be more to life than the day to day that we
were experiencing in the years leading up to this trip. The
decision to pack it all in and travel happened quite quickly
(we basically decided and would have been ready to leave
within 7 weeks). Unfortunately in November we received some
bad news...
