Question

HINT: If you want your photo to appear next to your Question or Answer then simply head over to http://en.gravatar.com/ and you'll be able to upload a picture of yourself or you & your children for example and all of a sudden you'll start seeing yourself all over the internet. Lots of blogs use Gravatars to display pictures next to comments. The added benefit is that when people can see who you are they are more likely to connect and answer your question than if they just see the blue gravatar logo.

has anyone relocated to belize/or ? with 2 teenagers?

I will be bringing my 2 dogs ( 55lbs and 130lbs) My kids are 17 ( senior in high school) and 15 ( sophomore in high school) . Most of the blogs I found relate to kids 13 and younger. I am a single mother, been wanting to do this for a very long time...better late then never. Open to suggestions, tip and locations in other countries but especially interested in Placencia area of Belize.

Hi Cherie, Sounds like a WONDERFUL adventure and you will LOVE Belize. It's one of our favourite places, although we haven't spent much time in Placencia. We have been slow traveling for almost five years now with our four kids (the oldest are now 14 and 16 years... similar to yours!) We loved Central America and spent half of two separate years there. We used Guatemala as a base and then explored outwards from there. Left a big piece of our hearts in Guate... will probably end up splitting our time between there and Canada when we finally "settle down" (2 or 3 more years traveling first!) I'm happy to try to help you with whatever you need. Just shoot me an email and ask! You can also reach me through our website contact form if my email doesn't show up here!
