Question

HINT: If you want your photo to appear next to your Question or Answer then simply head over to http://en.gravatar.com/ and you'll be able to upload a picture of yourself or you & your children for example and all of a sudden you'll start seeing yourself all over the internet. Lots of blogs use Gravatars to display pictures next to comments. The added benefit is that when people can see who you are they are more likely to connect and answer your question than if they just see the blue gravatar logo.

Tips on kid friendly activities while in Lisbon?

We have just arrived in Lisbon and would love some tips re kids friendly activities. We are here for three days. The obvious tourist activities including walks through Alfama, Bairro Alto, Palacio de Belem, some suggest the Ocenarium and the Zoo. Any other ideas? Our son is 3 and a half.
Thanks a bunch

We spent 2 months in Lisbon with our 1.5 year old daughter. The place is not the most child friendly, but you will find parks around the city. Just visit the tourist attractions you mentioned, Alfama, Bairro Alto, Chiado, Belem. Belem has a lot of green areas where kids can run around, especially near the Tower of Belem and Monastery of Jeronimo. The oceanarium is great, it's the second largest in the world and definitely worthwhile visiting. My daughter love it. We also visited the zoo and it was very much enjoyed by the both of us. There are also some great parks near the centre of lisbon. Enjoy you 3 days, I hope the weather has improved!
