There are some of the best waves on the planet surrounding the islands, and one perfect beach break located a short paddle from the resort, ideal for beginners to learn how to surf. Kids can enjoy surfing lessons with all gear available at the resort. Lessons are available for all levels so no one has to miss out.

  • Snorkeling

Discover the beautiful coral reefs and exotic fish surrounding the islands. The resort provides all the necessary gear to keep your kids uncovering the wonders of the ocean all day long.

  • Stand Up Paddle Boarding

The kids will love exploring the different wonders found in the mangrove forests and racing their friends on paddle boards, it will also give them a good work out too so they’ll fall fast asleep as soon as their head hits the pillow!

  • Spear Fishing

Expert hosts will take the kids on guided snorkeling and spear fishing tours, all equipment is provided and safety is first priority.

  • Guided visits to the local village

Let the kids soak up some culture with a guided tour of local Silabu Village. Only a short boat trip away up a winding Amazon style river which is truly spectacular, their eyes will be opened to the way of the Mentawai people.

The island is covered with hermet crabs! We have BBQ’s prior to each departure which is normally twice a week where crab racing is a popular activity for the kids, and adults as well.

  • Ping Pong & Billiards

Perfect for when the sun goes down and the kids need to move inside. These classic resort offerings will keep them entertained all evening long.

  • Trekking and jogging

For those who like to keep fit there is a 3km sealed pathway to the village which is great for walking, where often various endangered species of monkey are seen, this path is ideal for jogging as well.

  • Beach combing

When the kids need some downtime away from the more extreme activities, they can spend hours exploring the tide flats or shell finding. It takes about 45 minutes to walk around the entire island.

  • Chilling and Relaxing

For when the kids just want to chill and relax, resort rooms all have DVD players with stacks of DVD’s stored behind the bar, and there are around 30 Sat TV channels to choose from as well with many children’s channels as well.
