Everest Base Camp routeĀ is Nepal’s most popular trek route that welcomes over 50,000 trekkers each month. The classic route from Lukla to Everest Base Camp is the busiest route in Nepal. Since it takes you close to the base of Mount Everest, the world’s tallest mountain, the trek is loved by many in the world.

Everest Base Camp trek starts with a flight from Lukla, an exciting mountain flight. Then, we trek to Namche and stop there for a day for acclimatization. After that, we stop at Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche, and Gorakshep.

Although the Everest base camp trek is exciting, it might also sound daunting and scary. However, the experts claim that the Everest Base Camp trek is only moderately hard, but also achievable by people of all experience levels ( no mountaineering skills needed). Since this route has been newly opened, Manaslu has been least affected by foreign envision. You can also walk above to the TSUM valley which is still a restricted region. You will need a special government permit to trek in this region.

Langtang Valley trek

Close to the capital of Nepal, the Langtang Valley trek is another short and beautiful trek in Nepal. The journey beings with an exciting ride on a hilly road to Syarubensi. Then, we walk along the beautiful trail on the bank of Langtang River to the Lama hotel. The cultural insight and interesting Nepalese cuisine make our other night in Langtang village very exciting. Finally, we hike to Kyanjin Gompa to stay with the Buddhist lamas.

Here, we visit an old monastery and Yak cheese factory to get some fine local cheese before tracing the route back.

Gokyo Valley trek

Gokyo Trek can be a little more challenging and expensive than the classic Everest base camp trek, however, the thrill is worth it.
